General Notes: Husband - James Beatty

He and his two brothers, John and Samuel, came over the mountains from New Jersey and settled in Dunbar township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, near Laurel Furnace about 1816, they being accompanied by their mother.

He remained in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, until his death. He left four children, one son and three daughters.
