General Notes: Husband - Henry R. Terry


He settled in what is now Edinboro, Erie County, Pennsylvania, in 1827, and shortly after began to practice medicine, being a graduate of the Jefferson Medical College of Philadelphia. He was admitted to the bar of Erie County about 1850, and later was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of the State and District and Circuit Courts of the U. S.
He was Justice of the Peace for fifteen years. He was appointed to that office for life by Gov. Ritner, under the old constitution; that law was afterward repealed, and he was elected by the people for two terms. He was a Trustee of the Normal School. He was a Republican in politics.
