Miss Ann Wilson Stout, born in Ringoes, N.J., Feb. 28, 1829, was the daughter of Robert Nisbot Stout and Elizabeth DeForrest, his wife. Miss Stout died on Tuesday, August 26, 1930, in her sleep, at the age of 101, with the exception of two days.
Her Revolutinary Ancestors were Captain Nathan Stout, a Minute-man, who fought in the Battle of Princeton, and Abraham DeForrest, a foot-soldier in the Militia. Miss Stout remembered her Grandfather DeForrest, who lived to be almost 99 years of age.

She also had an aunt in Hopewell, N.J., whom she often visited. She had uncles John Stout, Levi and Zephaniah. Her Grandfather was Nathan Stout.
Grandfather Nathan Stout was a Captain of Minute Men in the Militia.
