In 1737 he emigrated to Pennsylvania and for some years lived in Germantown, removing in 1745 to Montgomery County.
There seems to be some confusion in the source about which of his children were born to which wife. Susanna, born 1764, is given as a daughter of the first wife; Catherine, born 1757, is given as a daughter of his second wife.
