He settled in Butler County, Pennsylvania, about 1810 and remained ten years, in 1820 moving to Harrison County, Ohio, where he resided during the remainder of his life. While in Butler County he served as justice of the peace, receiving his appointment from the governor of the state. [CAB, 819]
