General Notes: Husband - Henry Van Zandt Stewart


Civil War: he served in company A, 61st Pennsylvania volunteers for two years and eight months. He was wounded in the battle at Fair Oaks, Virginia. He was killed at the Wilderness.

Wounded May 31, 1862; prisoner May 4, 1863; killed at Wilderness, May 5, 1864; buried in Wilderness burial grounds.
