General Notes: Husband - Franklin Moore Stephens


He was educated in the public schools, Mt. Union College, Ohio, Washington College, Pennsylvania, and subsequently, in the spring of 1887, graduated in the medical department of the Pennsylvania University, at Philadelphia. Immediately thereafter he was offered and accepted the position of resident physician and surgeon in the Robert Packer Hospital, at Sayre, Bradford County, Pennsylvania. Two years thereafter he was chosen general superintendent of the hospital.
