General Notes: Husband - James G. Storer

He was born at Gastonville, Washington County, Pennsylvania. His early years were spent there and he received his education in the local public schools and the Mount Union College, Ohio. He was employed by the Adams Express Company in Pittsburgh for a period of eighteen years, and in 1882 removed to Wilkinsburg. He was elected borough clerk of Wilkinsburg and held that office for four years. He then entered the employ of the Pennsylvania Water Company in Wilkinsburg, as secretary and auditor. He was elected justice of the peace in 1907. His political support was given to the Republican party, and he was a member of the Methodist church. He was one of the organizers of the Pennwood Club; was a member of Beta Lodge, No. 647, Free and Accepted Masons; was a member of the Improved Order of Heptasophs; and an honorary member of the Grand Army of the Republic.
