General Notes: Husband - Gottlieb Stark

He came from Germany to the United States when quite a young man. He was a wagon-maker and carriage builder, which trade he pursued very profitably for many years. He was twice married and had only two children.

He was a native of Germany, who came to the United States when he was twenty years of age and settled in the town of Greensburg, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, where he engaged in business as a wagon maker during the remainder of his life. He was twice married and the father of three children, of whom only one was living in 1918.

It is not known whether Holtzer was his first wife or his second, or whether she was the mother of any of his children.
