General Notes: Husband - Albert G. Stark


Civil War: he enlisted in Company A, 77th Regiment, P. V., Oct. 30, 1861. He was engaged with the regiment at the battles of Shiloh, Liberty Gap, Murfreesboro, Nashville, Franklin (Tennessee); also Chickamauga and the campaign to and around Atlanta, Georgia. He was promoted from corporal to sergeant, Aug. 2, 1863; to first sergeant, Feb. 15, 1863; to first lieutenant, Aug. 24, 1863; and to captain, Sept. 8, 1864. He was wounded at Resaca, Georgia, May 16, 1864. He resigned July 7, 1865. After the Civil war he went to Kansas City, Missouri, where he engaged in the real estate business.
