He received his education in the common schools and Mount Union College. He began his medical pupilage under his brother, Dr. I. N. Sprowls, of Burnsville, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Jefferson Medical College in March, 1882. Immediately after graduating he opened an office and began practicing in Burnsville.
