He died March 19. [TV, 164]

He was born and grew up on the farm of his parents, and later went into farming on his own in Rockland Township. He married when young and lived most of his life in Rockland, how­ever he moved to Fairmont, Indiana around the turn of the century, he and Susannah being separated. He would reside in Indiana the rest of his life, however, in late 1929 he returned to Franklin, Pennsylvania, for a lengthy visit. He was visiting with his four children and sisters for three months when he suffered a stroke, and died in the Franklin Hospital. [TOV, 183]
