General Notes: Husband - James Agnew Smith
He was educated for the ministry of the U. P. church, but followed the profession of teaching for a number of years in the district schools. For some time he was a merchant in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and later lived for three years on a farm in Union township, Washington County. After that he moved to Greenfield, where he was in business for a while.
