General Notes: Husband - David Ehrheart Wolf

He received the name Ehrheart in honor of one of the early ministers of the neighborhood. He learned his father's trade, blacksmithing, which he followed to some extent, but he also engaged in farming, in which he met with success. He was also an undertaker, and acted as health officer for Parks, Gilpin and Bethel townships. He was tax collector for Bethel township for a period of seven years, and was clerk for the jury commissioner for nine years. Politically he was a Republican. He belonged to the Lutheran Church, and fraternally was a prominent member of the I. O. O. F., belonging to White Rock Lodge, No. 979, in which he has passed all the chairs, and to Encampment No. 244, Kittanning.
