General Notes: Husband - William Rogers

He was residing in South-ampton, Long Island, as early as 1642; was given a tract of land by the general court in 1645 and made a freeman in 1649. As early as the last named year, and perhaps before, he had a home in Hempstead but resided in South-ampton from 1649 to 1655. In 1656 he was in Huntington, Long Island, and died there in 1683. The records of that town indicate that he was a son of Isaiah Rogers, but all efforts to trace the latter have proved fruitless. On July 30, 1656, Jonas Wood, William Rogers and Thomas Wilkes secured a deed from Asharoken and eight other Indians, trans-ferring extensive tracts of "medoe, freshe and salte," on the north side of Long Island, "with all the arbige that is or shal bee heare after upon the woods" for "2 coates, fore shertes, seven quarts of lisker and eleven ounces of powther." This deed was recorded in New York, October 15, 1666.

General Notes: Wife - Ann [Unk]

She survived her husband and made a will in Huntington, Long Island.
