General Notes: Husband - James Simanton

He was in the Continental service during the Revolutionary War, and about 1810 removed across the mountains of Pennsylvania, and settled in Washington County, one mile west of Briceland's Cross-Roads, where he died. He left one son, who never married, but removed to Ohio and died; he also left a number of daughters.
