General Notes: Husband - George Sigler

He came to America from Germany, spent some time in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, but settled in New Jersey. About 1775 he and his family migrated to the head of Long Meadow Run in Derry Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania (later Decatur Township, Mifflin County).

He came to Pennsylvania from Germany soon after 1750. He may be the George Sigler who arrived at Philadelphia September 25, 1751, on the ship Phoenix. Tradition says that George married Elizabeth Terrault on shipboard enroute to America.
