General Notes: Husband - Jefferson Siggins

He was a member of the Improved Order of Red Men, and the members of that Order attended his funeral in a body. A short service consisting of remarks and a prayer by the "Venerable Prophet," words by the "Sachem," dropping of evergreens on the coffin and finally the solemn word "Farewell" by each member was touching in the extreme.
