General Notes: Husband - Christian Shively


He was of German descent. In 1834 located in Elk township, Venango County (later a part of Clarion County), Pennsylvania, and engaged in farming. The family were members of the Dunkard church and he served in some of the small offices of the township.

He had five children with his first wife.
