General Notes: Husband - James Simpson

He located in 1806 in what is now Cowanshannock township, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, of which he was one of the pioneer settlers. In the latter part of life he removed to Manor township in which he died at ninety-one years of age.
He and his wife reared a family of eight children, to each of whom on their marriage he gave a good farm.
