General Notes: Husband - Thomas Sharp


During the Spanish-American War he and his two brothers sons were in the army. He belonged to the 17th United States Infantry, and participated in the battles which took place about Santiago, Cuba. He became a member of the Society of Santiago.
After his discharge from the army he turned his attention to civil affairs, and became manager of a live stock company in Oregon.
