General Notes: Husband - Bartholomew Seidley


He came to America in 1827 and settled in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, where he worked at clock-making. In 1834 he settled in Mercer and followed his trade for three years. He was married in 1837, and began clearing a farm in Springfield Township in connection with his clock tinkering. He settled on a farm in Findley Township in 1861.
