General Notes: Husband - Michael Seanor

He was born in eastern Pennsylvania, and coming to the western part of the state settled on a farm which he purchased in Hempfield township, Westmoreland County, on which later a church was built, known as the Seanor Church. Later he sold this to his son George and bought a farm on the Pittsburgh pike, in Westmoreland County, at the present town of Grapeville. He cultivated his land, kept hotel, and was an all-round active and successful business man. Eventually he sold his farm to his son Michael and purchased a home in Grapeville. In religious connection he was a Lutheran, in politics a Whig.
