General Notes: Husband - Adam Seanor, Jr.
He had the advantage of a good common school education, and upon attaining a proper age turned his attention to farming and stock raising. This calling he followed all the active years of his life, owning a farm of two hundred and sixty-five acres. He was prominently identified with the Presbyterian church, and affiliated with the Republican party.
After his marriage he resided for a few years in Fort Wayne, Indiana, then returned to Salem township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
He came into possession of a handsome farm, consisting of about two hundred and sixty-five acres of land, and there for many years was engaged in business as a stock dealer. He was a staunch Republican in politics, and a member of the Presbyterian church.
After his marriage he removed with his wife to the state of Indiana, where he continued to make his home for a decade. He then returned to Pennsylvania, after which time he made a farm in Salem township, located about two miles west of Crabtree and three miles southwest of New Alexandria, his permanent home.

Her mother died when she was just twelve years of age, leaving besides herself three or four younger children to whom she became a second mother.
