General Notes: Husband - John Scott

---

His boyhood days were passed on the home farm in Mt. Pleasant township, Washington County, Pennsylvania. After marriage he and his wife settled on a farm in the same township. They were first members of the Associate Reformed Church at Robinson's Run, and in 1850 united with the Associate Reformed Church at Venice. In 1858 they became members of the U. P. Church, of which Mr. Scott was elected an elder, but refused to serve.
