General Notes: Husband - Conrad Ziegler


He was of Swiss ancestry, his father, who was one of the earliest white settlers in Manor township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, having been a native of the "Mountain Republic."

He was born in Manor township, and after marriage settled in East Donegal township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where he passed the remainder of his days. He was a farmer by occupation.

The family of Ziegler is one of the old and important ones of East Donegal township, the founder having established himself there as early as 1782.
