General Notes: Husband - Godfrey Schoch

He was a native of Bavaria, Germany, but took up his residence in Brady township, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, in 1853. He purchased a house and lot in Troutville, where he worked at the blacksmith's trade in connection with farming until 1880, when he laid aside business cares. In that year he was elected supervisor of his township, and was later re-elected, continuing to hold the office up to the time of his death.
