A pioneer of the region around Nickleville, Venango County, Pennsylvania; he purchased part of the "college lands" sold by the county commissioners. [HVC 1890, 583]
He and his wife were members of Academia Presbyterian Church in 1856.

Unclear who his wife might have been; two names: Elsy (Elsie) and Wealthy (might be given name or surname). JB of N gives a list of children now listed under Unknown Say. The dates of birth make it impossible for these to be his children. Could they be children of his uncle James?
