General Notes: Husband - Daniel Winters

He was born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where he grew to manhood, learning in his youth the carpenter's trade. When a young man he was married in his native county and a few years after his marriage he moved to New Berlin, Union County, where he followed his trade and also at times acted as auctioneer and town-crier. He and his wife were both devout Church members. His mother accompanied him from the old home in Lancaster County, and her last days were spent at New Berlin.
