Obit: Ellis C. Rodgers was born in Jackson Township, March 14, 1911, to James C. and Hulda Beatty Rodgers. He attended grade school in Jackson Twp. and graduated from Rocky Grove High School in 1929. He has followed construction work for 30 years as an ironworker in Erie Local. He was married to the former Ruth Williams at Meadville, Pa. in 1934. She was born Jan. 9, 1916, to Philo and Fannie Kightlinger Williams. They have one daughter, Marilyn Flint who lives in Evans City, Butler County, Pa. They belong to the Cooperstown and Chapmanvillc Fire Departments.
