General Notes: Husband - Adam Rodgers


He married and they settled on a farm of ninety-two acres, purchased of John P. Hoagland, in East Lackawannock Township, Mercer County, Pennsylvania. The land was partially cleared, but the buildings were erected by his own labors. He served seven years as school director. They were members of the Methodist Episcopal Church. He was a Republican.

He was a volunteer in the Civil War in Company B, One Hundred and Thirty-fourth Pennsylvania Volunteers, under Capt. James McCune, and served nine months.
