General Notes: Husband - William Fleming Rich

After attending the schools of Pine Creek township, Clinton County, Pennsylvania, for some time, he became a student in the Central State Normal School at Lock Haven, where he graduated with the class of 1882. Like his brothers, he early became familiar with every detail of the business connected with the woolen-factory, and in 1889 he purchased the interest of his father in the mill, with which he has since been connected. In Woolrich he had a home worth $2,500, was president of the Patriotic Order Sons of America, at that place, was a teacher and superintendent of the Sunday-school connected with the Methodist Episcopal Church, in which he held membership, and was identified with the Republican party.
