General Notes: Husband - Josiah White


He lived on the estate of his father at Lancaster, Massachusetts, and his residence there was used as a garrison. He was a soldier in King Philip's war under Major Simon Willard, of Middlesex County, Massachusetts, in 1675, also under Captain Poole (see pp. 122, 260, Dodge's “Soldiers of King Philip's War”, “New England His­torical and Genealogical Register”, vol. 41, p. 274).
