General Notes: Husband - John Newton Reznor


He enlisted at Mercer, Pennsylvania, August 11, 1862, in Company A, One Hundred and Thirty-ninth Regiment of Pennsylvania Volunteers. He was promoted to a corporal in 1865, was wounded in the battle of Spottsylvania, and was mustered out of the service at Pittsburgh. After returning home he was elected the clerk of the court of Mercer County in January of 1876, and he held that office for three years.
