General Notes: Husband - Elijah Stewart


He was born in Pennsylvania, east of the mountains, and was one of the early settlers of Cherry Tree Township, Venango County, PA, settling there in 1802. He was the father of twelve children, nine lived to maturity. He carried on a tanning business with his brother Andrew. Cherry Tree Presbyterian church was erected largely through his efforts.
