General Notes: Husband - John B. Reinbold

He was educated in the common schools and began for himself in a grocery and bakery store in Allegheny City, Pennsylvania. He came to Oil City from France in 1869 and soon after went to Allegheny City as noted; in 1871 he returned to Oil City and continued the same business on the south side until 1872, when he turned it over to his brother, Charles. In that year he assumed charge of the Bellevue hotel, leasing it until 1880 and subsequently buying it. During the last mentioned year he established an extensive livery business in connection with this house. He was financially successful, and owned a large farm in Cornplanter township, on which he raised stock and feed. He was a member of the Oil City council, was assessor of the city for two terms, and was president of the Oil City school board. He belonged to the I. O. O. F. and the K. of H., and in politics was a Democrat. He served five years in the French army.

He lost his life during the flood in Oil City, Pennsylvania, in June, 1892.
