General Notes: Husband - Wiley Reel


Civil War: he enlisted in Company E, 101st regiment, and participated in the various engagements about Newbern. He was captured and sent to Andersonville prison, survived the inhuman treatment of the prison, but was accidentally drowned near Fortress Monroe, on his way home.
