White Twp, Indiana Co, PA

He came to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1819, and in the same year located in Armstrong township, Indiana County. In 1825, he purchased a homestead [in White township?]. In 1827, his mother and her children, William and Jane, arrived and settled on the farm later occupied by her grandson, William S. Pattison.

It is not clear from the sources which of his children were born to which of his wives.
