General Notes: Husband - Walter McKinnie


He was ensign of Captain William Huston's marching company, in service, in 1778, but is marked on the rolls "on a journey." He became captain of the eighth company, in the fourth battalion, Cumberland County Associators, May 10, 1780, and was in service on the western frontier.
