General Notes: Husband - David Barr

---

He was a native of Ireland, and became a permanent settler of Centre County, Pennsylvania, some time toward the close of the 1700s. He was a patriot, and served his adopted country in the Revolutionary war. He became a local land agent for the Wiesters of Philadelphia, and he, himself, before his death, was a large land owner in Centre County.
