General Notes: Husband - Bankhead Boyd Barr


He enlisted as a soldier, in 1862, in Company G, One Hundred and Fortieth Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteers; was wounded at the Wilderness May 9, 1864, and died at Alexandria, Virginia. His remains were brought home and his body lies interred in the family burying ground at Pigeon Creek.
