-Mr. Samuel Pryor died at his father's house in Rockland, on September 26th, 1884, aged 40 years. He had been from his childhood a great sufferer, but his affliction was always borne with Christian resignation. He was the first person converted in the M. E. Church in Rockland, and his life ever after was that of a Christian. His aged parents, and brother and sisters, while missing him sadly, can but feel that their loss is his eternal gain.
