Lawrence E. Tenbuckel SHERMAN, NY- Lawrence E. Tenbuckel, 80, Coymer Road, died Friday in Corry Manor Health Care Facility. He was born Aug. 28, 1900, in French Creek Twp., a son of Henry and Sara Meerdink Tenbuckel. He was a retired farmer, a member of Edward's Chapel United Methodist Church and served several years as an assessor for the town of Sherman. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hattie Prindle Tenbuckel; a daughter, Mrs. John Samuelson of Webster; two grandchildren; one step-son, Guy Stebbins of Sherman; one step-daughter, Mrs. Milton Hewes of Chautauqua, NY; four step-children and one step-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ida Tenbuckel, in 1963, and three brothers, Delbert, John, and Martin Tenbuckel. Friends may call at the Spitzer Funeral Home, Sherman, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to services at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Gordon Bloomberg, pastor of Edward's Chapel United Methodist Church,
officiating. Burial will be in Sherman Valley Cemetery.
