General Notes: Husband - Bernard Preston

---

He followed farming, and in 1784 moved to Pennsylvania, purchasing a large tract of land in Washington County, where he and his wife remained the rest of their lives. They were members of the M. E. Church, the old church building of that denomination being on the farm later owned and occupied by one of their grandsons.
