General Notes: Husband - Maj. William Ramsey


He was a native of Ireland, who settled on what later became the James Hood farm, White township, Indiana County, Pennslyvania, a short time after the Fergus Moorhead settlement. Owing to the Indian massacre in the neighborhood of his home, he retired to Franklin County.
