General Notes: Husband - Stephen Post


His father died when his son Stephen was small, and the latter was reared by his mother and gained his education in the schools of Morris Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, afterward engaging in farming and stock raising, mainly in South Franklin Township. He served several terms in the office of road supervisor, and he was one of the liberal supporters of the Upper Ten Mile Presbyterian Church at Prosperity, of which he was an elder for a half century.
