General Notes: Husband - David H. Walter

---

He learned the trade of a wagon maker and wheelwright, but after following it some years he engaged in agricultural pursuits in Union township, Union County, Pennsylvania, where he purchased a homestead in 1832. At one time he made his home near Winfield, in Union township. Prosperity rewarded his efforts, and at his death, at the age of sixty-three, he left a handsome competence. He was a member of the U. B. Church, and, in political faith, was first a Whig, and later a Republican.
