General Notes: Husband - Andrew Pees


He served in the War of 1812.

He purchased from his father one hundred and eighty-seven acres and lived on it until his death, leaving eight children, who were all dead before 1882 or removed from Washington County, Pennsylvania.

He was about ten years old when he accompanied his parents to Washington County, Pennsylvania. They settled in 1773 on a farm in North Strabane Township which was later owned by John Berry. Andrew Pees served in the early Indian wars on the border and was with Colonel Crawford at Sandusky.
