General Notes: Husband - Alexander Patterson


He took out a patent for a tract of land in Rostraver township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, containing two hundred and forty acres and known as the "Rich Grove." This was afterwards transferred to his son Thomas in 1793. The patent was signed by Thomas Mifflin, the first governor of Pennsylvania under the constitution of 1790.
