General Notes: Husband - George G. Schnure

The only child of his parents, he was quite young when his mother returned to New Berlin, Union County, Pennsylvania, where his early education was acquired. He attended college in New Berlin, and later in Blairstown, New Jersey, and, in the fall of 1890, entered the University of Pennsylvania, but in the fall of 1893 failing health compelled him to abandon his studies. He then spent one year at home, after which he took a course in typewriting and short-hand in Drexel Institute, of Philadelphia. He also read medicine for three years under Dr. C. Sumner Musser, of Aaronsburg, Pennsylvania, but his health forced him to give up the profession. He later superintended the management of his farm, which was operated by a tenant, he making his home in New Berlin.
He and his wife were members of the Lutheran Church, and he belonged to the Masonic lodge at Selinsgrove.

General Notes: Wife - Lovey Matchett Odgers

She was born in Newcastle, Delaware, and during her early girlhood went to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with her parents.
